Shirley Ann Morrill

Marysvale, Utah - Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Shirley Ann Morrill, age 68, died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home in Marysvale, on Saturday, June 11, 2011. She was born April 13, 1943 in Silverton, Colorado, a daughter of John Ben and Mavis C. Harris Read. She graduated from Jordan High School in Sandy, Utah, Class of 1961. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Shirley married Boyd Cannon Morrill, April 17, 1981 in Elko. Nevada. He died September 7, 2007. Shirley and Boyd owned and operated B & S Pets in Riverton for many years. Shirley enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, quilting, visiting with her friends, spending time with her family and Nascar racing. She will be greatly missed. Shirley is survived by her children: Morgan Wyatt of Butte, Montana; Dalene Curtis of Riverton; Carley Wright of Taylorsville; step-children: Gerald Morrill of Las Vegas, Nevada; David Morrill of Goshen; Rick Morrill of Delta; Gay Swartz of Commerce City, Colorado; and Troy Morrill of Chandler, Arizona; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Perison Donald and Monique Read of Colorado; Evelyn Allison of California; Joann and Donald Tueller of Elko, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ben and Mavis Read; and her husband, Boyd C. Morrill. A wake in memory of the life of Shirley, will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at the family home, 265 West 500 South in Marysvale. Grave side services and burial will follow at 1:00 P.M in the Kingston Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
