Steven Dan Rasmussen

Salina, Utah - Steven Dan Rasmussen, age 27, died November 7, 2004 at his home in Salina, after a valiant battle with brain cancer, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 3, 1977 in Richfield, Utah, a son of Dan L. and Gaylene Tucker Rasmussen. He married Natalie Ada Christensen, February 20, 1999 in Venice, Utah. Steven graduated from North Sevier High School, Class of 1995. He went to Utah Valley State College in Orem for one year. Steven loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife of Salina; sons: Tylar Steven and Jordan D. Rasmussen, both of Salina; parents, Dan and Gaylene Rasmussen of Aurora; sister and brother: Heather Anne and Curtis Ogden of Aurora, Andrew Ben and Cena Rasmussen of Salina; mother-in-law: Debbie Christensen of Richfield; brothers and sisters-in-law: Susan and Adam Parsons of Richfield; Karly and Shay Jolley of LaVerkin; Kris and Kristi Allred of Richfield; grandparents: Lyle and Carla Tucker of Aurora; Naoma V. Rasmussen, Bill and Eileen Allred, all of Richfield. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Verl D. Rasmussen; father-in-law: Karl D. Christensen; aunt, Joetta Christensen and uncle, Steven V. Rasmussen. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Salina LDS Stake Center, 98 West 400 North in Salina. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the Stake Center, Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
