Richfield, Utah – Our beloved father, grandfather, son and brother, Steven Lee Snow, age 68, passed away January 6, 2023 at the home of his daughter in South Jordan, Utah, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born November 3, 1954, in Salt Lake City, a son of Grant Lee Roy and Lorna House Snow. Steve graduated from Manti High School, Class of ’73. He served an LDS Mission to Seoul Korea and Oakland California.
He married Mitzi Mickelson December 4, 1981 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. To this union were born four wonderful children. Steve and Mitzi were later divorced but remained good friends.
Steve worked for the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office where he was the Animal Control Officer. He also worked for the Richfield City Police Department, served as an EMT for the Sevier County Ambulance and was office manager for the Utah Honor Flight Program, helping veterans go back to Washington DC to tour the veteran memorials and sites. He was a great Mentor to many people in the area.
Steve enjoyed shooting, deer hunting, being in the mountains, card games, family reunions, and in his youth, he enjoyed riding horses with his grandpa, playing baseball and horseshoes. Most of all he loved being a grandpa. He will be missed.
Steve is survived by his mother, Lorna Snow of St. George; his children: Scott Lee Snow of West Jordan; Shalee and Michael Dennis John of South Jordan; Spencer and Rebecca Snow of Provo; Sidnie and Michael Anderson of Saratoga Springs; 8 wonderful grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; siblings: Christine and William Wainwright of St. George; Douglas and Shelley Snow, Gary and Sheila Snow, all of Grantsville; Lisa Lang of Downey, California; Celina Chee and Nate Thompson of Lupton, Arizona; brother-in-law: John Daniels of Nephi.
He is preceded in death by his father, Grant Lee Roy Snow; a sister, Cynthia Snow Daniels; a daughter-in-law: Valerie Anne Snow and a brother-in-law: Jon Lang.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 12:00 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
