Susan Marie Crane

Elsinore, Utah - Our kind and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, Susan Marie Engel Crane, age 49, died June 23, 2013 at her home in Elsinore. She was born May 27, 1964 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, a daughter of Donald Matthew Engel Sr. and Fern Lois Schultz Engel. She married Brian Howard, deceased. She married Brett Blackburn, deceased. She married Rodney Wanlass and they were divorced. She married Casey Earl Crane, October 25, 2003 in Salina, Utah. Susan enjoyed camping and being in the mountains, four-wheeling, cooking, sewing and quilting. She was a strong advocate for AA and NA. She enjoyed being a grandma. She was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Chelsea Rose Howard of Mesquite, Nevada; her parents of Athelstane, Wisconsin; her sister, Darlene Koser of Mesa, Arizona; three grandchildren; and her step-son, Zach Crane of Salina; 1 niece and 4 nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald M. Engel Jr.; a sister, Mary Engel; and a brother-in-law: Bruce Koser. Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. Burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
