Tamara Taylor Peterson

Teasdale, Utah – Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Tamara Taylor Peterson, age 53, passed away March 14, 2022 at her home in Teasdale. She was born November 2, 1968 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Dwight and Barbara Ann Brinkerhoff Taylor. She grew up in West Valley City and graduated from Kearns High School, Class of 1987 with Academic Honors. In high school, she was an all state basketball player and played basketball in the junior Olympics. She attended College of Eastern Utah in Price, where she also played basketball and graduated in 1989. Tamara married Bryce David Peterson September 7, 1996 in Salt Lake City. She worked for Granite School District for 11 years. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Tamera enjoyed four wheeling, loved all sports, especially basketball. She and Bryce moved to Teasdale in August of 2018 to enjoy the country life. She is survived by her husband, Bryce, of Teasdale; a daughter, Sierra Skye and Tilli Taumauni and their children, Skye and Kama, all of Orem; her parents, Dwight and Barbara Taylor of West Valley City; siblings: Gregory B. Taylor of West Valley City and Christine Taylor of West Jordan; siblings-in-law: Scott and Michelle Peterson of West Valley City; Brent and Tanya Peterson of Missouri; Kathy and Bill Kinross of Indianola; Charlotte and Matthew Larsen of Orem; LeAnna Williams of Lehi; Emily Peterson of Phoenix, Arizona. She is preceded in death by a sister, Julie Taylor Mamales; parents-in-law: Donald Peterson and Gwendolyn Krank; grandparents, Otto and Verda Brinkerhoff, Keith and Rose Anna Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the Torrey LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may visit with the family Thursday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services.
