Tazmarie Christensen

Central Valley, Utah - Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Tazmarie Christensen, age 33, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Salt Lake City. She was born September 5, 1982 in Richfield, a daughter of Teresa Marie Christensen. She graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 2001 and then attended Snow College in Ephraim and Utah State University where she earned her B.S. in Wild Life Biology. Tazmarie enjoyed hunting, fishing and singing. She loved dogs and did a lot of dog fostering. Her dream job was working at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab. She loved being around her friends and family. She loved the color purple. She enjoyed going to "the funny farm" with Grandpa and spending hours working and visiting. She considered that her home. She is survived by her mother, Teresa (Bill Davis) Christensen of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandparents: Devon R. and Elberta S. Christensen of Central Valley; her fur baby dogs: Purple, Rebel, Froggy and Marke, all of Kanab; and her three uncles: Audey Ryan and Donna Christensen of Central Valley; Bryce R. and Oksana Christensen of Farmington; Rick E. Christensen of St. George; numerous nieces and nephews. Casual funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
