Teresa King Sharp

Bicknell, Utah - Teresa King Sharp, age 45, passed away March 29, 2006 at the home of her parents in Bicknell, Utah, after a valiant two year battle with cancer. She was born September 29, 1960 in Richfield, Utah, a daughter of Jack V. and Bonnie Shelton King. She married Stephen R. Sharp March 23, 1978 in Bicknell, Utah They were later divorced. She is the mother of two sons, Cody Ray Sharp, U.S. Navy, Augusta, GA and Shawn Stephen Sharp, Rigby, ID. They were her pride and joy and best friends. Teresa lived for several years in Clifton, CO where she was employed in the garment industry. In October of 1999, she moved to Rigby, ID as a supervisor for Teton Outfitters Sportswear. Any sewing idea put to Teresa was soon an accomplished fact and she was always there when anyone needed help. Teresa loved to return to Wayne County to help with the family cattle operation. She could always be found on the Henry Mountains for the spring roundup. Teresa is survived by her parents; her two sons; stepchildren: Dustin Sharp, Melissa (Adam) Fredrickson; three brothers and one sister: Kenneth and Virginia King, Casper, WY; Verland and Terri King, Torrey; Vance and Jodi King, Vernal; Camille and Dennis Blackburn, Bicknell; also many good friends in Idaho, Colorado and Utah. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Hugh V. and Fern P. King; Verland F. and Vera W. Shelton. The family thanks all the health care workers at the Gunnison Valley Hospice, and Aspen Home Health and Hospice in Idaho Falls, ID for their dedicated care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the Thurber LDS Ward Chapel in Bicknell, where friends may call for viewing Tuesday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Bicknell Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
