Teresa Marie Christensen

Central Valley, Utah – Teresa Marie Christensen, age 61, of Central Valley, was reunited with her beautiful daughter on March 9, 2022 in Richfield. She was born July 3, 1960 in Richfield, a daughter of DeVon R. and Elberta Sorenson Christensen. She grew up in Richfield and graduated from Richfield High School, Class of 1978, and then attended and graduated from Snow College in Ephraim. She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On September 5, 1982, Teresa became a proud mother and her entire life revolved around her beautiful daughter, Tazmarie. She nurtured her, took her to singing lessons and helped her become the beautiful young women that she was. When Tazmarie passed away unexpectedly in 2015, Teresa’s whole life changed. Teresa was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked in health care in Las Vegas for a few years. She loved crocheting, sewing and doing crafts. She liked to swim. She was a big Jazz fan and loved basketball, and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Teresa is survived by her mother, Elberta Christensen of Central Valley; brothers: Ryan and Donna Christensen of Central Valley and Rick E. Christensen of St. George; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Tazmarie Christensen; and her father, DeVon R. Christensen. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 12 Noon in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
