Aurora, Utah - Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Thomas Craig Williams, age 72, passed away March 30, 2018 at the home of his daughter in West Valley City. He was born May 29, 1945 in Salinas, California, a son of Thomas Evan and Emma LaVonne Nunley Williams. He married Virginia Ann Shipp in 1970 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later divorced. He married Shelly Dawn Stanley June 8, 1985 in Aurora, Utah. They were later divorced. Tom loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He liked to scrap metal and loved to watch movies and antique shows. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially enjoyed his grandkids. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children: Toni Lynn Williams Hall and Brenda Rae (Jack) Williams Erickson, all of West Valley City; Don Bard Shipp of South Salt Lake City; Thomas James (TJ) Williams of Murray; Kristi LaVonne (Peter) Vander Wilt of Pleasant Grove; 22 grandchildren ,18 great-grandchildren; and lots of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, William "Bill" Conway Williams; a great-granddaughter, Aamyah Shipp; and his father-in-law, Newell Kenneth Stanley. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Aurora City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield Saturday 12:00 Noon to 1:30 P.M. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
