Tiffani Cherry

To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD (2 Cor 5:8) On February 11, 2009, Britnie Michele (Tiffani) Cherry, age 34, quietly left us and joyfully danced into the arms of her loving Savior, surrounded by her family. She was born March 16, 1974 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up the only girl in the middle of her older brother, James and younger brother, Cameron. She was very close to and loved her brothers very much. In her younger years, Tiff had a passion for gymnastics and dancing. She graduated from Thornton High School in Colorado in 1992. At the tender age of 18 Tiffani suffered her first stroke. A few years later she was diagnosed with the debilitating APLA syndrome, a rare blood disorder. With her mother Sam as her inspiration and "Pops" as her strength she fought on. She was in fact a medical mystery and in our hearts one of God's precious miracles. She has been a light and inspiration to many. Her example of persevering Faith will live on in our hearts forever. She is survived by her parents, Tony and Narda (Sam) Bilow (of The Woodlands, TX); brothers, James and Tina Cherry of South Jordan; Cameron and Judi Williams of West Jordan; 3 nephews, Justin, Ben and Junior; 6 nieces, Jessi, Dallas, Brooke, April, Sarah, and Jacey; grandfather, Harold (Faye) Taylor of Salina; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly. She was close to and loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by our beloved grandmother, Hope Hunt Taylor and nephew, Anthony James Williams. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 13th at 11:00 A.M. at The Adventure Foursquare Church located at 352 West 12300 South, Draper UT, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services. She will be laid to rest Saturday, February 14th at 10:30 A.M. in Bicknell, Utah, under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
