Toni Darlene Barney

Richfield, Utah - Toni Darlene Barney, a beloved mother, at the age of 62, passed away on October 20, 2024, surrounded by her family, in Richfield, Utah.

Toni was born on April 3, 1962, in Roy, Utah, to Tony Gale Mickelson and Emma Sal Smith. She grew up in Salina, Utah, where she had fond memories of riding bikes with friends and spending time at Stigs.

Throughout her life, Toni found joy in doing crosswords and putting together puzzles. Toni's family has fond memories of playing card games together, something she enjoyed doing with them. Toni's love for owls and dolphins reflected her appreciation for nature's beauty. Additionally, she loved fishing and camping, where she enjoyed the great outdoors with her loved ones.

Toni met the love of her life, Wade Barney in July of 1986, they later married on January 14, 2003, spending 38 wonderful years together. As a beloved mother, she took immense pride in her children: William and Rickena Boweter, Delmar and Katey Barney, Natasha and Junior Spadafora, Brandon Barney and Abby Seymour, all of Richfield; Aaron Boweter, of Joseph; Cassandra Barney and Scott Foot, of Salina.

Toni also leaves behind her 22 beautiful grandchildren, whom she loved spending time and making memories with. 

In addition to her immediate family, Toni is survived by her siblings: Kathy Nelson, Troy Mickelson, Sue Mickelson, Janice Anderson, Elmer Chestnut, and Misty Hart; as well as her father-in-law: Dale Barney; Brother-in-laws: Alan Barney and Jay Barney; Sister-in-law: Larena Barney. 

Toni is preceded in death by her parents: Tony Mickelson and Emma Smith; Her sister: Rosie Tollefson; Brother: Clay Chestnut; Mother-in-law: Raeanne Barney; Brother-in-laws: David Barney and Laneal Nelson.

Graveside services will take place at 12:30, November 6, 2024 at the Salina Eastside Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 N 400 W in Richfield, from 11 A.M. to 12 noon prior to services.
