Traci Lynn Johnson

June 13, 1964 — October 9, 2022

Syracuse, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend Traci Lynn Johnson 58, passed away on October 9, 2022 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.


Traci was born to Ronald Martin and Brenda Joy Mimmis Sanden on June 13, 1964 in Cascade Idaho. Traci’s early years were a whirlwind of mischief, high energy and curiosity which fueled a love for the outdoors and fun. Picnics, fort building and floating down canals on old inner tubes when young turned into camping, four wheeling, gardening and fishing as an adult. Her family, grandchildren, and gardening became the greatest joys in life.


Traci was known for her kindness and patience working with children and adults. She loved opportunities to get to know and serve them. She was influenced by many master teachers who inspired her as well as mentors at Intermountain Farmers of Richfield, South Sevier Middle School in Monroe and Head Start in Ogden who guided her throughout her work life.


She loved her family beyond measure both the living and those that have passed on. She is survived by her husband, Dan Johnson; son, Kade (McKenzie) Quarnberg; daughter, Alicia Quarnberg, step-daughters: Stephanie (Shiloh) Killian; Michelle Lee (Mitchel) Carter; her beautiful grandchildren: Kailee Quarnberg, Ricky and Capri Quarnberg, Kaylor Richardson, Aspen and Brecklyn Killian, Nixon, Krew and Marley Carter; her father, Ronald Sanden; her sister, Gina (Randy) Meacham; nieces and nephews and in-laws.


Traci is preceded in death by a son, Skyler Quarnberg; a step-son, David Johnson; and her mother, Brenda Sanden.


Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. in the Richfield Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
