Manti, Utah - Our kind and caring daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, Patricia Lynn “Tricia” “Patty” Rogers, age 20, of Manti, died September 21, 2009 in Salt Lake City, of head injuries that she received in an automobile accident on Thursday, September 17, 2009 in Nephi Canyon. She was born December 13, 1988 in West Valley City, Utah, a daughter of Warren Russell and Janet Diann Heaton Rogers. She graduated from Manti High School, Class of 2007 and was currently attending Snow College in Ephraim. She was an active member of the LDS Church. In high school, Tricia was on the Manti High School Drill Team. She enjoyed horse back riding, dirt biking and dancing. Tricia was big time into family and kids. She was a kid magnet, the “pied piper” of children. She spent one summer working with handicapped children. She loved all her cousins. Tricia is survived by her parents, Warren and Diann Rogers of Manti; a brother, Russell Rogers of Fairbanks, Alaska; grandmothers: Phyllis Heaton of Washington City; Marguerite Rogers of Portland, Oregon; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by a sister, Amberly Kay Rogers, who died of head injuries suffered in a mountain climbing accident five years ago. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the Manti LDS Stake Center, 295 South Main Street in Manti, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Grave side services and burial will be Friday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. in the Bicknell Cemetery, Bicknell, Utah, under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
