Monroe, Utah - Trina Lee Ballard, age 65, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and beyond strong woman, passed away peacefully at her home in Monroe, on June 8, 2024, with her daughter, Chanelle, by her side as she departed from this world.
Trina was born February 7,1959, in Richfield, a daughter of Budd Edward and Beverly Ann Ence Chavis. She grew up in Sandy, Utah and graduated from Jordan High School, Class of 1977.
She married Ronald Joseph Ballard September 21, 1985, in Ely, Nevada. They have been married for almost 40 years. Together, they shared a lifetime of memories.
Trina was a dedicated mother to her three daughters, Heather, Ashlee, and Chanelle, who meant everything to her. She loved her children more than anything on this earth. She was a loving grandmother to five grandchildren, Kaytley, KayAnnie, Kayze, Axle, and Aero. She loved her sister Anita and their talks.
Trina found joy in the simple things in life, from her love of the mountains and fishing to her favorite soap opera, "The Young and the Restless." Her strength and resilience were evident in all aspects of her life, and she faced challenges with unwavering courage.
Trina loved horses in her youth and loved watching horse racing. She coached softball in her girls' youth for many years where she was an adored mentor. Trina loved to watch her girls play softball and cheer throughout their lives. She loved to spend time with each of her grandchildren and support their many adventures.
Trina is survived by her husband, Ron Ballard of Monroe; her three daughters, Heather (Tyler) Huntsman of Hurricane, Ashlee (KC) Lund, Chanelle (Chris) Murdock, all of Monroe, her five grandchildren, and her sister, Anita (Brian) Purser of Littlefield, Arizona.
She is preceded in death by her parents Budd and Beverly Chavis, brother Dan Chavis, and niece and nephews.
Trina Ballard will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, strength, and simplicity will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace, knowing she was cherished and admired by many. We find peace knowing she is free from the struggles of this earth and with her loved ones once again.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 17, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the Monroe City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
