Loa, Utah – Loa, Utah – Our kindhearted, caring, and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Patricia Esplin Faddis, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Loa on Saturday, June 26, 2021. She was born March 17, 1948 (a St. Patrick's Day baby) in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Kent Chamberlain and Alice Mae White Esplin. She graduated from Granite High School, class of 1966, and got her Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Brigham Young University in 1971. Later in life she decided to persue a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Bastyr University and had a private practice for eight years. Trish married Jonathan Faddis November 23, 1971 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Trish was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she loved being a Relief Society teacher. She taught herself how to play the piano so she could play for the Primary. She served an LDS Mission with her beloved husband, Jonathan, and loved sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Trish enjoyed crocheting, reading, sewing, growing houseplants and flowers, collecting dolls, fairies, frogs, spoons and tea cups. Her greatest joy was her family and she cherished each one of her beloved grandchildren. Trish is survived by her beloved husband, Jonathan Faddis of Loa; children: Troy and Christina Faddis, Tiffany and Jarrod Farish, Brenton Faddis, all of Loa; Travis and Jessica Faddis of Spring, Texas; Courtney Faddis of San Antonio, Texas; Chantil and Eric Stoddard of Everywhere, USAF; and Brittany Faddis of West Jordan; 15 grandchildren; siblings: Ronald K. and Judy Esplin, Renee (Leo, deceased) Luckau, Laree (Dave, deceased) Thomas, David Esplin, Brent and Alice Esplin, all of Salt Lake City. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kent and Alice Esplin. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Loa LDS Stake Center, where friends may call for viewing Wednesday morning from 11:00 to 12:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Loa Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
