Ula Talbot John

July 29, 1940 — November 29, 2021

Heaven welcomed the most beautiful angel, Ula Talbot King John, with open arms Monday evening November 29, 2021 in Monroe, Utah. She was met by many family members who joyfully embraced her return. Ula was born July 29, 1940 in the beautiful little town of Panguitch, Utah. She was born the fourth child of six children to Russell Hatch and Memphis Ula Sudweeks Talbot. She grew up in Panguitch and attend elementary and high school there. Ula married Max Ronald King and together they had four children who she dearly loved: Kent Max, Linda, Marlyn and Doulas D. King. They lived and raised their children in Antimony. She and Max were later divorced. She married Martin John and they were later divorced. Ula was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She valued her testimony of Jesus Christ and the opportunity she had to serve in various callings. Temple work was also an enjoyable experience for her. Ula was also a member of the Utah Daughters of Pioneers where she gained many incredible friendships. The most significant highlights in her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She valued every moment with them. She also enjoyed reading and acquired a library of books. Crocheting, quilting and sewing also brought a lot of self-satisfaction and peace to her. She will always be remembered for her gentle, tender ways of caring for others around her. Ula is survived by her children: Kent and Leiann King, Marlyn and Lance Nay, daughter-in-law: Melissa King; 16 Grandchildren and 39 Great Grandchildren; siblings: Dee H. and Jan Talbot, Virginia and Val Hanney; sister-in-law: Vivian Talbot. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Memphis Talbot, daughter and son in law: Linda and Myron Allen; son: Douglas D King; siblings: Grant Russell Talbot, Sheldon H. Talbot and Darlene Orton and a sister-in-law: Karen Talbot; daughter in law: Laura King, as well as 1 great grandson. The family would like to extend a grateful heart of thanks to all her friends and family who have assisted her and to Monroe Canyon Assisted Living Center Staff and friends there, Hospice Care, Dr. Jeffrey Brown and Dr. Kevin Anderson. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 12 Noon in the Springer Turner Funeral Home Chapel, 260 North 400 West in Richfield, where friends may call for viewing Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
