Velma I. Larrabee

Aurora, Utah - Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Velma Imogene Scantlin Larrabee, age 82, passed away at her home in Aurora, Utah on June 23, 2008. She was born October 8, 1925 in Lone Grove, Oklahoma, a daughter of Claud E. And Blondie Edna Spears Scantlin. She married Wayne Howard Larrabee, August 3, 1946 in Reno, Nevada. Mom took great pride in her flower gardens. She loved to go camping, fishing and 4-wheeling with her family. She had many friends and loved all the visits. Velma is survived by her husband, Wayne H. Larrabee of Aurora; her three daughters: Claudine Murphy, Vicky and Terry Phillips, all of Aurora; Sandra and Mike Clubb of Chino, California; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister and brother: Mary Anderson of Visailia, California and Elmer Scantlin of Exeter, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claud E. And Blondie Scantlin and a grandson, Stephen Wayne Clubb. Grave side services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. in the Aurora City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Salina, Thursday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. prior to the services. Burial will be in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
