Virginia "Ginger" Verrrico

June 11, 1953 — January 6, 2018

Aurora, Utah - Virginia Anne Ogle Verrico "Ginger", our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully at her home in Aurora on January 6, 2018 with her sister and brother-in-law by her side. Ginger was born June 11, 1953 in West Covina, California, a daughter of James Franklin and Betty Lucille Griffin Ogle. Ginger learned the value of hard work at a young age and her work ethics followed her throughout her entire life. She was a very strong woman who had such a love for her family and friends and her two dogs, Chelsea and Tipster. She loved adventures, dancing, people and just having fun. She was a very personable person and everyone loved her. Ginger worked as a Pit Boss at Harrah's in Laughlin, Nevada where she loved getting to know her customers an sharing life experiences with them. She had a genuine love for people. We love you so much Mom and Sis and we will truly miss you. She was beautiful loving mother of three children, whom she loved so very much. Ginger is survived by her children: Sean and Zara Pettis of Buckley, Michigan; Vanessa and John Janvrin of Valencia, California; Mario Verrico of Murrieta, California; 2 grandchildren; and two sisters: Robin and Neil Anderson of Aurora; Lisa and Chad Conrad of San Pedro, California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Ogle Whiting and her father, James Ogle. At her request, her remains will be cremated and there will be no formal services. Funeral Directors: Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
