Wallace S Higgins

Monroe, Utah - Our kind and loving brother, uncle and friend, Wallace Spencer Higgins, age 86, of Monroe, died June 8, 2012 in Richfield. He was born April 8, 1926 in Monroe, a son of John William and Hulda Elnora Petersen Higgins. He graduated from South Sevier High School, Class of 1944. He served his country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a member of the LDS Church. Wallace enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, leatherwork and woodworking. He is survived by his sister, Ila R. Willden of Aurora; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Higgins of Richfield and Una Higgins of Sandy; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers: Delbert Higgins, Morris Higgins and Marlin Higgins; and sisters: Roselle Nay and Genevieve Higgins. Grave side services will be held Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Monroe City Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Monroe American Legion Post #37 and the Utah Honor Guard and under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
