Aurora, Utah - Our beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend, Wayne Howard Larrabee, age 94, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010. He was born April 6, 1916 in Coldwater, Michigan, a son of Winfield Osmer, and Amy Teachout Larrabee. Wayne served in the Navy, and he fought in World War II. He served from 1934 to 1950. He married Velma I. Scantlin, August 3, 1945, in Reno, Nevada. She passed away June 23, 2008. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also participated in cowboy action shooting. He liked crossword puzzles, computer games, and sending and receiving emails. He is survived by his children: Claudine Murphy of Salina; Sandra and Mike Club of Chino California; Vicky and Terry Phillips of Aurora; June Barndt of Philadelphia, PA. He is survived by: eighteen grandchildren; twenty four plus great grandchildren; six plus great great grandchild. He was proceeded in death by: his wife Velma Larrabee; daughter Barbra Worrall; brother Samuel Larrabee; sister Alice McDonald; grandchild Steven Wayne Clubb. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Aurora City Cemetery. Friends may call for viewing from 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 150 East Main, Salina, prior to services. Burial with military honors accorded by the Salina American Legion Post #36, in the Aurora City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, and Salina.
