Richfield, Utah - Wayne Lee Wilson, age 61, died May 19, 2013 at his home in Richfield. He was born November 3, 1951 in Pontiac, Michigan, a son of James Edwin and Juanita Anne Losey Wilson. Wayne joined the United States Army when he was 17 and served his country during the Viet Nam era. He was in the Army for 10 years. Wayne was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked at Flying J in Richfield for 10 years. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Wayne is survived by two sisters: Patricia Anne and Randall Roberts of Annabella; Judith Francis Leichty of Puyallup, Washington; his best friend and care giver, Mary Mangum of Richfield and her two children: Katelyn Sauter and Ronald Sauter; and good friends, Cindy and Rob Hyde of Richfield. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and two brothers: Mary Bernice Warrick; Robert Joseph Warrick and Karl Patrick Wilson. Grave side services will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park Cemetery, 17111 South Camp Williams Road in Bluffdale. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Burial with military honors accorded by the Disabled American Veterans Post #6 and the Utah Honor Guard will be in the Veteran's Memorial Park Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
