Yvonne L. Bardsley

Centerfield, Utah - Our kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Yvonne Larson Bardsley, age 72, passed away January 27, 2018 in Provo, Utah of complications from heart surgery. She was born May 2, 1945 in Salina, Utah a daughter of DeVon LaVern and MaeDawn Mickelson Larson. She graduated from Gunnison Valley High School Class of 1963. She then attended business college for one year. Yvonne married Gene Ralph Bardsley May 8, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple May 7, 1977. Yvonne was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a Teacher and Librarian. She worked as a Bookkeeper for the Gunnison Valley Hospital for over 20 years. Yvonne enjoyed camping with her husband and family, cooking for her family and being with and helping with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, Gene, of Centerfield; her children: Michelle (Courtney Murphy) Bardsley of Salina; Michael Gene and Monica Bardsley of Mountain Home, Idaho; Brett R. and Marcie Bardsley of Payson; Brent J. and Kimber Bardsley of Centerfield; 7 grandchildren: Rhett and Jessie Crane, Christohpher Bardsley, Kelsey and Jared Cenarrusa, Haylee K. Bardsley and Avery J. Bardsley, Gentry R. Bardsley and Maci Grace Bardsley; 3 great-grandchildren: Cooper James Crane, cash Gene Crane and Charlie Marie Crane; sisters and brothers: Linda and Glen Mickelson of Redmond; Earlene and Sam Castro of Cocolalla, Idaho; Lee and Brenda Larson of Cullowhee, North Carolina; Don and Linda Larson of San Fonn, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Axtell 1st LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call for viewing Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. or Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Centerfield Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
